Are You in Shape for Summer?
At the beginning of each week look at your calendar and schedule time for exercise like you do any other important activity in your life. Don’t look at exercise as an indulgent time you spend for yourself but as a priority appointment like time you would set aside for your spouse, kids, or work. You are worth it!
Sit down every day and write down everything you eat. People who keep food journals are more successful at losing weight and staying fit.
Make a goal. Athletic events, family portraits, vacations, and reunions are always good motivators for looking your best.
Losing weight is best achieved with a combination of healthy eating, strength, and cardiovascular training. Set aside an hour four to five days a week, keep a food journal, and eat a proportionate amount of calories a day for your height, weight, and age and success will happen. Good luck!
